Abarth released another special edition of the hot hatch based on Fiat 500, named 695 Esseesse, limited to 1,390 units.Despite the name, the collector’s model is not as focused or powerful as the track Top 695 two-seater,and with Chapter 595.

However, there are some notable adjustments, including a new bonnet made of aluminum with dual power bumps, which is 25% lighter than a regular steel bonnet. Together with the Akrapovic exhaust system, the weight of the 695 Esseesse is 10 kg lighter than the smaller 595 Competizione.

A prominent feature is the “Spoiler ad Assetto Variabile”, which is a new rear wing that can be manually adjusted from 0 degrees to 60 degrees. It first appeared on the previous 695 70° Anniversario. Abarth said that at its more aggressive angle and when the vehicle is traveling at 200 km/h, the protruding wings add up to 42 kg of aerodynamic load.

The 695 Esseesse is only available as a hatchback (without convertible), and is available in two colors-Scorpion Black and Campovolo Gray-evenly distributed (695 units per color). Each unit comes standard with white 17-inch alloy wheels, red center caps, red brake calipers, special logos and white details (bumpers, mirror caps and side decals).

Inside, the dashboard is decorated with Alcantara fabric, and the passenger side is laser-cut with the words “695 Esseesse”. The Sabelt seat also has stitching that matches the selected exterior color, and the words “One of 695” on the headrest. The interior trim is decorated with carbon fiber on the gear lever, pedals and steering wheel.

Under the hood, the familiar 1.4-liter turbocharged four-cylinder gasoline T-Jet engine provides 180 horsepower (178 horsepower) and 250 Nm of torque. Drive enters the front wheels manually via a five-speed, although customers can also order an optional six-speed semi-automatic transmission.

In terms of performance, the 695 Esseesse accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 6.7 seconds and has a top speed of 225 km/h. The front of the car is also equipped with Koni FSD (frequency selective damping) dampers and four-piston red Brembo brake calipers.
