On Friday, July 29, the president Andrzej Duda spoke with the President of the People’s Republic of China (PRC) Xi Jinping.
“Andrzej Duda introduced Xi Jinping to Polish stance on the Russian attack on Ukraine“- announced the Chancellery of the President in a press release.
As added, the chairman of the PRC “expressed readiness to cooperate with the Polish side” in search of ways to end the conflict peacefully.
“Both sides stressed the importance they attach to respect for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of all countries, including Ukraine. President Duda drew attention to Russia’s attempts to cause a global food crisis and the possibility of an active role for China in counteracting its creation “- we read.
“Both sides emphasized the high quality, intensity and friendly atmosphere of mutual relations based on mutual respect. These were expressed in the recent deliberations of the Intergovernmental Committee” – added the press release.
Apart from the topic of the war in Ukraine, Andrzej Duda talked to Xi Jinping about intensification of air connections as the pandemic subsides as well development of economic cooperation.
