On August 29th, Jack Paul’s first pay-per-view boxing match at Showtime will be aired in his hometown of Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Cleveland, Ohio, against Tyron Woodley.
The newly crowned Bellator MMA featherweight champion AJ McKee and Jake Paul’s brother Logan will join the veteran sports commentator Brian Custer on TV. Mauro Ranallo and Al Bernstein will take action in the circus circus, MMA reporter Ariel Helwani will serve as a guest analyst and will handle post-match interviews.
Barstool Sports President Dave Portnoy and “Pardon My Take” host Dan Katz will also be part of the star-studded announcement team as part of Barstool Sportsbook’s full sponsorship, including in-area and TV broadcast brands. Portnoy and Katz will provide sports betting throughout the evening.
Also participating in the broadcast is MMA reporter Phoenix Carnevale, who will serve as the traveling reporter for Fight Night, and of course, the legendary Jimmy Lennon Jr. will serve as the ring announcer.
This is a crowded night, beyond the main event.
WBC/WBO Featherweight Champion Amanda “The Real Deal” Serrano will defend her title against the combined feature round of super bantamweight world champion Amelis Mercado, Ivan Baran Cheek will work to destroy the unbeaten record of Cleveland Montana. A pair of British fighters will make their debut in the United States, Daniel Du Bois will challenge Giuseppe Angelo Cusumano, and Tyson Fury’s brother Tommy will play against Anthony Taylor.
This will definitely become one of the most watched games in 2022, and there will be a matching broadcast team to handle the celebration night.
