Why would anyone Buying an electric scooter worth $2,700?This is the question I asked myself after my representative in MiniMotors USA suggested that I try the company’s new product Double Sky VictorThis is also a question asked by a colleague who has been riding an electric scooter for less than $500.
After a few weeks of riding… well, I get it.This is the only scooter I have ever ridden that feels like production Travel long distances. I took it on a 24-mile round trip from Brooklyn to New Jersey, and it still had 30% power in its fuel tank. This may be the farthest distance I can walk upright!
It is so powerful that it can zoom in on steep hills at will, which will paralyze most electric scooters, and its suspension can provide good cushioning. It has some quirks—and a big drawback—but it’s actually perfect.
Easy through settings
Victor came to my door in a huge and heavy box. No, I don’t know who Victor is, but I’m happy that this electric scooter can be set up in just a few minutes. Tighten the clamps on the stem, then unfold the handlebars and secure them with their respective clamps.
There is a hook at the end of the deck so you can clip it to the handlebar when folded. It prevents the valve stem from collapsing during storage and makes it easier to carry Victor. This is where I should mention my biggest problem: it is heavy. It is 73 pounds, which is heavier than most people electric bicycle. It is troublesome to install the curb even if it is lifted. Thankfully, I live in an apartment with an elevator. But one day the elevator doesn’t work… well, let’s suppose that some choice words are heard in the stairwell.
It’s impossible to find a similar scooter with such a large range and power and significantly lighter weight, but that doesn’t mean I won’t complain about it.if you were able Try to lift it, it can be put into the suitcase. It is very compact when folded.
Victor works almost out of the box. There are headlights, taillights and front and rear fenders. (The bell will be great.) It also has LED lights to illuminate the bottom of the deck, and the Dualtron brand on the handlebars lights up like an RGB gaming PC. If you wish, you can use the included remote control to adjust the color and lighting pattern.
You need to turn on the power switch at the bottom of the deck before you can turn on Victor’s power through the dashboard on the upper right handlebar. There is a mode button to switch the riding data on the screen, and the third button (with a dot on it) will change the gear of the electric scooter. These three gears will adjust your speed. For example, first gear limits you to 15 miles per hour.
