The 38-year-old Pole was walking along Karl Marx-Strasse in Muehlhausen in Thuringiawhen he was approached first by an aggressive woman, then by two men. A quarrel broke out between the Pole and three people – reported “Bild” on Sunday.

One of the two men suddenly pulled an object from behind his back. When the Pole noticed this, he defended himself with pepper spray. The attacker then threw a machete, which by a hair missed the Pole – describes the newspaper.

The Pole, who left the confrontation unscathed, then reported to the police. He brought a machete with him and described the attackers who had been identified by the officers. According to the police, the machete thrower was under the influence of drugs and alcohol. It is not known yet why the quarrel took place.
