A restaurant and bar in Allston that closed last fall could be reborn, and apparently under new ownership.

According to the Licensing Board Hearings page on the City of Boston’s website, The Glenville Stops is seeking to reopen, with a notice indicating that Glenville Tavern Services, Inc. is applying to transfer its beer and wine license to Allston Rock City, LLC while retaining Glenville Station name. The post also said that James Caruso would be the manager, while a Google search revealed that Fred Starikov was involved in the new parent company. Both Caruso and Starikov are part of City Realty, which operates venues such as The Silhouette Lounge and The Tam.

The original incarnation of The Glenville Stops – which first opened in 2014 – is partly known for its small plates and beer/wine selection.

The Glenville Stops address is 87 Glenville Avenue, Allston, MA, 02134.
