Tottenham boss Antonio Conte says Harry Kane is fit to face Burnley after being hit in the back in Saturday’s 3-2 win over champions Manchester City.

The England captain scored a stunning double at the Etihad Stadium to inspire Tottenham to a crucial victory in the Premier League leaders.

But despite a late knock in the win, Kane will start for Spurs on Wednesday’s Turf Moore, with Conte even joking that the 28-year-old would play even if he had a leg.

The Italian said: “Harry was hit in the back but he has to play. Even if he has a leg, he has to play. He is fine.
