Which air fryer is the best?
You’ll need an air fryer to make these wings.These wings are made using Instant Vortex Plus 6 Quart Air Fryer. you might prefer one oven air fryer or a Dual air fryer. These are great for easy meal prep.
I love this air fryer because it preheats quickly and has a big enough basket so I can cook enough food to feed the whole family. The hot air circulates very evenly resulting in perfectly cooked chicken wings.

To make air fryer wings, all you need is some thawed raw chicken wings and some olive oil to lightly coat the wings. Olive oil helps crisp the wings.
Even if you are air frying chicken wings, you still need a little oil, but you will use less oil when air frying. If you want to add dry rub or keto sauce to your wings, you can find some suggestions in the recipe card below.

To make air fryer wings with frozen wings, you need to make sure they are fully defrosted before cooking.
Then, first pat the thawed wings dry with a paper towel, then lightly coat the wings with extra virgin olive oil. You can use olive oil spray or brush all the wings with regular olive oil.
If you want to use any seasoning, such as smoked paprika, garlic powder, or lemon pepper seasoning, sprinkle the wings with whatever seasoning you want. I also highly recommend putting these air fryer wings in the delicious dry rub seasoning in the recipe card.
If you want to coat your wings with buffalo or ketchup, I recommend doing this after the air fryer wings are cooked. This will prevent the sauce from burning in the air fryer.
To cook the wings, preheat the air fryer to 385F/195C and set the timer to 18 minutes. Once you have a preheated air fryer, open the basket and lightly coat the air fryer’s basket with nonstick cooking spray to prevent the wings from sticking to the basket.
Put the wings in the basket and keep them apart so they don’t touch. Depending on the size of your air fryer, you should be able to fit 8-10 wings in the basket at a time.
Close the air fryer basket and air fry for 18 minutes. Flip the wings halfway through cooking to ensure they cook evenly. Once the wings are done, pour them into your desired sauce and serve.

If you’re looking for a delicious dry rub to use on your wings, look no further. To create an amazingly delicious massage, all you need is these 6 ingredients.
- garlic salt – If you need a low sodium rub, substitute garlic powder (only use ½ amount).
- black pepper
- dried oregano
- smoked paprika
- onion powder
Simply combine all of these ingredients in a bowl, then rub your wings into the rub, then place them in the air fryer basket for amazingly delicious chicken wings! Set your sauce aside and dip your wings.

2: Ketogenic Buffalo Chicken Wings
Do you prefer playful wings with dry rubs? Then we serve you. Making delicious homemade buffalo sauce is so quick and easy, you’ll be shocked if you haven’t made it before.
To make buffalo sauce, add ½ cup hot sauce and 4 tablespoons. Put the butter in a microwave-safe bowl. Place the bowl in the microwave for 30-45 seconds, until the butter is softened and mostly melted.
Mix butter into hot sauce and you have a delicious buffalo sauce. It’s really easy. I like to use Frank’s Red Hot Sauce when making buffalo sauce. Once the homemade chicken wings are cooked, toss with Frank’s Hot Sauce and enjoy!
3: Grilled Chicken Wings with Tomatoes
To make keto BBQ chicken wings, just toss the cooked wings into my keto BBQ sauce. A little sauce can go a long way.

Cooked wings can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-5 days.
To reheat your wings, microwave for 1-2 minutes or reheat in the air fryer at 375F/190C for 5-7 minutes.

Most of the crisping of chicken wings cooked in the air fryer occurs in the last minute of cooking. However, if you need to cook your wings a little longer, you can put them back in the air fryer for a little longer.
Chicken should always be cooked to internal temperature 165°F (74°C). Be sure to use an instant read meat thermometer to ensure your wings are fully cooked. Larger or thicker wings may need to cook another minute or two.
