Corning’s Gorilla Glass is commonly found on smartphones, but automakers are also known for using chemically strengthened glass brands in their cars.For example, Mercedes-Benz uses Gorilla Glass MBUX super screen,and Windshield of Ford GT Made of tempered glass.

Jeep is another brand that uses Gorilla Glass windshield in its vehicles, and provides Jeep performance parts options for the old Wrangler through the Mopar division. This is for customers who are often outdoors but don’t want to worry about windshield breakage or chipping.

The American company is now bringing a stronger replacement windshield to New Wrangler with Gladiator, It uses the same technology, with “ultra-thin Gorilla Glass inner layer, outer layer 52% thick.”

The company said that in addition to providing “excellent resistance to chips, cracks and breakage,” the windshield is also particularly lightweight. This option comes standard with a two-year unlimited mileage warranty, retains the same Easter eggs as ordinary windshields, and can be distinguished by the “gorilla head artwork”.

Prices for the new Wrangler and Gladiator start at US$793 (RM3,325), while models with front-facing cameras range from US$820 to US$932 (RM3,438 to 3,907). For the older Wrangler, it is a bit cheaper at US$645 (RM2,704).
