It looks like the Greater Boston area may open another new location for the award-winning ramen shop, which is located on the waterfront.

According to a note In the website, Menya Jiro plans to open in the Boston Harbor District and move into a space on North Street. This page mentions a community gathering/meeting held at the end of last month, presumably to provide information about restaurant plans, including the request for beer and wine permits.

Menya Jiro currently has branches in New York City and Japan, and plans to open at Legacy Place in Dedham later this year. Another branch may come to Harvard Square in Cambridge, although no news about the location is late. These restaurants are known for making their own ramen dishes, and they have won street ramen contests in New York in the past.
