Mercedes-AMG and American rapper will.i.am will unveil a bespoke new car soon after a set of teaser images were uploaded to the automaker’s social media platforms. It will be a one-off model dedicated to raising funds for engineering projects at inner-city schools.

From the pictures, it’s clear that the car is based on the AMG GT, but the front fascia is completely redesigned. It appears to be inspired by the G-Class with its round LED headlights, square nose, rectangular grille and square chin.

At the back, the LED taillights appear to be taken from the AMG GT 4-Door Coupe, and the tailgate is filled with custom will.i.AMG and GT W1X badging. Unfortunately, nothing can be done.

For now, it’s unclear if the one-off model will get any mechanical improvements, but expect the same world-famous M178 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 to reside under the hood. The will.i.am special will be revealed later tonight, so stay tuned for updates in this space!
