A diving bar near Cambridge has been serving locals with drinks for nearly 90 years and will also provide food (at least today).

Message from Leah Klein City life boston Indicates that Paddy’s Lunch on Walden Street will start holding a pop-up window at 4:00 pm, which will include Pigpen’s BBQ and Facebook events page Said that they would provide pulled pork and sirloin sandwiches until they were used up. Paddy’s first opened in 1934 and has been known for drinking for many years, but it rarely serves food. It is not yet known whether the pop-up window will continue to add food to the bar at least semi-regularly, so please stay tuned for updates.

The address of Paddy’s Lunch is 260 Walden Street, Cambridge, MA, 02138. Its website can be found at https://paddys34.com/ (Pigpen’s BBQ’s Facebook page, which is a mobile barbecue pit focused on pop-up windows, is available at https://www.facebook.com/Pigpens-BBQ-101574955388669 /)
