Human rights groups stated that Israel should allow Khalida Jarrar to attend the funeral of her 31-year-old daughter Suha, who was found dead in Ramallah’s home.
Palestinian activists and human rights organizations have called on the Israeli authorities to release the Palestinian lawmaker Halida Jalal, who is serving a sentence, so that she can attend her daughter’s funeral.
According to Palestinian activists and Israeli media reports, the Israeli prison department reportedly rejected the political prisoner Jalal’s request to attend the funeral on Monday.
According to Palestinian media reports, 31-year-old Suha Jarrar was found dead at her home in the occupied West Bank city of Ramallah on Sunday night. According to reports, Jalal died of a heart attack.
The Israeli occupation authorities refused to release the political prisoner Khalida Jarrar to attend the funeral of her daughter Suha Jarrar and mourned her with human dignity.

The young Jalal works as a legal researcher and propaganda officer at Al-Haq, a Palestinian human rights organization in Ramallah. Some of her most famous works focus on the environmental impact of the Israeli occupation.
In a 2019 report, she believed that Israel’s discriminatory policies prevented Palestinians in the Occupied West Bank from adapting to climate change.
In his obituary, Huck stated that Suha is “a staunch supporter of the Palestinian people’s right to self-determination, freedom and dignity.”
Al-Haq stated that it issued an urgent appeal to the United Nations to “immediately and unconditionally” release Jarrar from the Israeli prison to bid farewell to her daughter.
Beautiful Suha, you left this world too early. May your soul rest in peace.

Palestinian activists also circulated a petition calling for her release online. Others organized demonstrations in the occupied West Bank and Gaza Strip to support the call.
“Kalida has been detained multiple times [Jarrar] Violating her rights, the Israeli authorities should at least allow her to say goodbye to her daughter,” Human Rights Watch Israel and Palestine Director Omar Shakir wrote in Suha’s obituary.
An Israeli military court sentenced Jalal to two years in prison in March for “inciting violence” and belonging to a “proscribed organization”. She will be released in September.
The famous Palestinian politician has been detained since the Israeli army arrested her at her home in the occupied West Bank city of Ramallah in October 2019.
Jarrar is also a member of the disbanded Palestinian Legislative Council (PLC), which has been arrested several times and held several times in Israeli administrative detention, in which Palestinians from the West Bank and Gaza Strip have been detained without charge or detention. The trial period is as long as six months.
The 58-year-old is associated with the left-wing People’s Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), which is considered a “terrorist” organization by Israel.
Jarrar was first arrested in 1989 and was detained for one month without trial. In 2014, she was detained for the second time and sentenced to 15 months in prison. She was finally released in February 2019 and was arrested again nine months later.
