How to make pulled pork in a slow cooker
You don’t need much liquid to cook pork in a slow cooker because it releases juices when cooking. I just use enough to season the pork and the reserved pork sauce, and provide extra barbecue sauce on the side.
If your slow cooker is too hot, you may need to add half a cup of water or broth, or you may need to replace the equipment. I also recommend checking your pork within five hours-if it is easily chopped, then it is already cooked.
I used the smallest barbecue I could find because I made it for my family. Depending on the size of your pork tenderloin, you have to change how much barbecue sauce you add. Remember that pork shrinks when cooked, so you need to weigh the cooked pork. I add two tablespoons of barbecue sauce for every three ounces of cooked pork, and some reserved pork juices. (If your kids don’t like barbecue sauce, please put some pork for them first, and then put it back into the crock pot.)

Slow Cooker Pulled Pork
This simple slow cooker pulled pork dish is made with my homemade barbecue sauce-it smells incredible, simmers for a whole day, and comes out tender and delicious.

Close the lid and set to high for 6 hours.
Remove the pork and transfer to a large plate; pour all the liquid into the cup and set aside.
