Alameda County Superior Court Judge Stephen Pulido on Monday ordered Mills College in Oakland, California, to provide hundreds of financial documents to Viji Nakka-Cammauf, a board member of the college and chairman of the Mills College Council Alumni Association.
The Women’s College must electronically provide Nakka-Cammauf with the required financial data, terms list and planning documents on or before August 18. Nakka-Cammauf will be allowed to view these documents with the help of legal counsel or financial analyst.
Pulido’s ruling also extended a temporary restraining order prohibiting the college from voting or signing any agreement regarding Northeastern University’s possible acquisition of the college before September 3. At the same time, the judge did not prohibit the college from continuing to negotiate with Northeastern University.
