After the Marlins’ Lewis Brinson hit the ball in the ninth inning of Sunday’s game, after a spectator at Coors Field yelled at least two N-words, the Rockies will need an answer soon.
The live microphone used for the game TV broadcast picked up the wired audio.
The Rocky Mountains said in a statement on Sunday night that they did not know who said the word but were “disgusted” by the behavior.
“Although no object was determined before the end of the game, the Rocky Mountains are still investigating the incident,” the team said. “The Rockies have zero tolerance for any form of racism or discrimination. Any fan who uses any derogatory language will be expelled and banned from entering Coors Field.”
Black Brinson’s slander during the appearance of the plate was loud and clear on the radio (you can Listen via this link), although Marlins spokesman Jason Latimer told the Associated Press that Brinson did not hear what they said.
The Associated Press quoted Latimer as saying in a text message: “Lewis, and any other marlins on the court or in the air-raid shelter, did not hear the shouting.” “We have brought this matter to the attention of the Rocky Mountains. This matter. How to deal with it, I will have to listen to their opinions.”
Paul Severino, TV announcer for the Marlins Immediately apologize in the live broadcast for hearing the defamation, However.he Later said on Twitter He was “disgusted” by what he heard.
“The level of hatred shown has no place in this world. Unfortunately, it is still too common. We need to get better. Soon. It’s terrible,” he wrote.
As of late Sunday, Brinson has yet to comment on social media. The outfielder scored 2 of 4 shots in the game with 2 RBIs.
The media on Twitter questioned why the Rocky Mountains were unable to identify and punish criminals in near real time.

Can’t identify a yelling person so that everyone in the range, especially Lewis Brinson, can hear it? No fans are disturbed enough to say or do something? They laughed it off? Have you applauded?Guy knows his surroundings very well and can feel that there will be no consequences https://t.co/mURxW9XRE4

What happened to Lewis Brinson today is disgusting. Those who sit down and make someone say n to someone repeatedly are as guilty as racist shit that says that.
