The skateboarding community is always looking for ways to explore new terrains on their boards, and this tracked trail board might be the solution. Ungoverned’s Vendetta is an electric track skateboard designed for off-road adventurers. Instead of off-road wheels, the Vendetta has front and rear tracks that maneuver on top of obstacles. The Vendetta is operated with a hand-held wireless remote control and the electrical enclosure is IP67 rated. The crawler skateboard is powered by Samsung’s removable lithium-ion battery, which can reach a top speed of 30 mph with a 40-minute runtime when fully charged. Charge time is 8 hours, but with the $1,200 fast-charge setting, that time can be halved to about 4 hours. Ungoverned claims the Vendetta has “4 times the surface drive area of a motocross bike.” Front and rear tracks are propelled forward using internal brushless hub motors. The Vendetta is currently available in Australia for $9,895. Ungoverned is currently developing the Vendetta off-road system for the US, Europe and other countries.
